We had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The vibe at Mapping was so friendly and peaceful, and we loved the mix of local and international travelers. The facilities were top-notch considering the price we paid. There were multiple bathrooms with hot water, comfortable tent beds with mosquito nets, and even a shared kitchen. The hostel's garden by the river was a real gem, and we enjoyed relaxing there. The location was perfect too, with cheap food markets and second hand shops nearby. Thank you to the staff at Mapping for making our stay enjoyable!

Amazing river view, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year and learning to fold dumplings. Lovely to see the pets having fun together. Close to railway station and has kitchen facilities. Budget-friendly option outside the city.

Despite the negative experience, we must acknowledge that the staff dealt responsibly and respectfully with an issue we had in our room. We appreciate their efforts in handling the situation. the hostel's location was a key advantage. Situated by the riverside, it offered a serene and zen atmosphere. The proximity to a local temple and a bustling market made it a convenient choice for exploration.

We were shocked to find filthy rooms with ill-fitted sheets and a lack of lockers for our belongings. The constant presence of insects all around the room was extremely off-putting.

I stayed at Mapping for 5 days during my vacation in Thailand. The hostel is ideally located just a short walk from the night market, and the river is right next to it, providing a serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved using the washing machine and hanging my clothes up to dry. Each bed had a spacious locker underneath, perfect for storing my belongings. Plus, the playful dog and two cats added a lovely touch to the hostel's ambiance.

I stayed at Mapping Hostel in Chiang Mai for a few nights as I was passing through to other destinations. The location by the river was perfect and I loved having breakfast there. The price was unbeatable and the facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. I will definitely stay here again if I return.

Comfortable seats and hammocks in the garden. Sleeping outside with a mosquito net on a mattress was enjoyable. Lockers under the bed fit two backpacks. Close enough to walk to the city center. Great staff and a lovely location by the river.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to assist me during my stay. They even allowed me to store my luggage while I participated in a volunteer program. The dorm beds were spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor area provided a perfect spot to relax throughout the day. The location was ideal, with a short walk to the night bazaar and a fantastic coffee shop nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it.

I had the best stay of my life at this hostel! The people working and living there were amazing. The vibe was incredible, and the decoration was beautiful. I opted to stay in a tent by the river for only a hundred baht per night, and it was truly the best experience I could have had. Plus, the hostel had great social areas to relax in. Even though the dorm bed was really hard, I ended up spending some nights outside, which was much more comfortable. And for the price, it was absolutely amazing!
